Fuck Cancer! …and Win a Free Case of Okanagan Wine!
Hey Everyone,
For those of you who know me, you know I’ve recently had a couple kids, and busy with work (of course), so naturally, my husband thought it would be a great time to sign us up for a 250 Km bike ride. To say this is intimidating at this point is an understatement as I’m not in shape whatsoever, but it needs to be done. We have both had Cancer impact the lives of so many around us – some of which continue fighting to this day. As such, the sacrifice of strapping myself to a bike from Cloverdale to Hope seems like a small trade-off.
The reason this particular Fundraiser gets so much attention is because it is localized to patients, researchers and therapists of BC based Cancer Treatment. Further, it has the highest amount of the fundraising dollars that actually make it to Research and Development. This ride will see Cancer Survivors participating and families of those who have lost members to the disease. With 1 in 3 now affected – it is certainly something that cannot be ignored. So of course, I want you to support us, or someone else riding for this cause. But we are sweetening the deal by doing a draw for a case of wine on JULY 15th. Depending on how much you donate will get you a certain number of draws to win. For every $2,500 we hit in donations, we will add another case of wine. So your odds of winning are approx 1 in 125 – 200. Not bad 🙂 Our goal is to raise $10,000.

When you donate ENTER YOUR NAME!!! so that you can get a tax receipt and also so that I can assign a certain number of draws to your donation.
$20 = One draw
$50 = Three draws
$100 = Seven draws
$200 = Fifteen draws
$300 = Twenty-five draws
$500 = Forty draws
